I’ve moved my old blog to WordPress because my former host, Typepad, is going out of business. The migration appears to have successfully transferred all posts and images, but only the more recent comments, as far as I can tell. I don’t know why. Frankly, it was a minor miracle that I was able to do this at all.

The migration restored a number of posts I had chosen to unpublish from the original blog, simply because they were too dated to be of interest. Oh, well.

It is possible to search the blog by using the search button in the sidebar on the left. For instance, you can find posts about Arthur Conan Doyle by entering the word “Doyle.” Also, at the end of a given post (prior to any comments), there are tags like “Afterlife” or “Books.” If you click on a tag, you will be directed to a list of all posts that are tagged the same way.

An archive of the entire blog, with all the comments, can be found at this link.

The blog is not active anymore, but I am still opining on Substack, in a newsletter called Chaos Come Again.

This is a test of the comments feature. To be honest, I don’t expect to get comments on this essentially archived site, and I doubt I’ll check for any. You can reach me through my Substack page.
